Today was the big party, Emma was up @ 6:30 ready to party. She could not wait to put on the Party Dress from Gigi and Poppy. We had a great time, there was a make your own PB&J sandwich table with some goldfish, grapes, and chips per Emmi's request. It was a big hit. Our friend Jamie made the quitar cake and the cupcakes for us. (Thank-You!!) There was a Hannah Montana pinata and some goodie bags. What more could you ask for. She can not wait to turn 6 next year and do this all over again. I can defenitly wait, hard to beleive she is already 5. It just seems much older than 4, off to school and riding the bus, able to play sports now, play dates @ friends houses, Im not sure I want to let go. I guess you have to and just head on to the next chapter.

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY EMMA
The Birthday Girl 5 years old!!!!!!!
Emma is all about the Birthday this year. I was to wake her up early this morning so she could have a nice long Birthday Day. She did get to open a few presents this morning and lite her yearly birthday candle. She then headed to gymnastics were they sang and gave her "birthday hugs" as she called them, we then headed over to Jaime's house for some pizza and then to dance class were she was again sang to. She was allowed to pick any two special people to take out to diner tonight and she choose Deanna and Lexi and the place of choice was Applebee's. I know now that we are very lucky to have only one girl, because after adding two girls to the mix the noise level goes to a whole new octave. One that I would not like to listen to every day:) She had a great day and is looking forward to her celebration @ school tomorrow with all her friends and as she calls it "the real party on Saturday, ya know the one where all the people bring presents." I have no idea were she gets the part of enjoying the present part from:)I do think she plans on stretching this whole birthday thing right through to the weekend
The Three Amigos plus 1, those pesky older brothers getting in @ the last minute
Me & my best friend Deanna Capri
Is that singing for me?????
I guess it was worth it for this Ice Cream Sundae

Bringing Home some Sunshine
I'm back from the Sunshine and warmth. I think that I may have brought some of that back. Friday was a beautiful day here in Brewerton NY. I do believe the temps were the high of 49 here, which felt like a heat wave since we were getting highs of around 6 degrees not including the wind chill the week I left. Connor, Emma and I headed outside to make a few snowmen since we have not had good snowmen making weather all winter. I think we did pretty good:)
Beautiful Toes
While Mom was gone, Daddy and Emma went to get a pedicure. Why you ask, does a 4 soon to be 5 year old need a pedicure. We need to give thanks to Jon & Kate plus 8 for that idea. All the little girls on there were able to get pedicures so what ever the little girls do Emma loves to follow. Daddy is going to be in trouble, already starting to pamper her. Her husband some day will have to thank Noel for making her such a princess. The first thing she said was "she got to put her feet into the real water, got a wonderful massage and got to have flowers put on her big toes." Her and Daddy has a good time, thats all that matters:)
The finished product.

Moms away!!!
Well, So far we have made it a day and we haven't been injured and we have been eating all of our meals, or at least our interpretation of what a meal should be:) The kids and I have a much more loose definition of a well rounded meal. I bet you never knew you could get your fruits and veggies from a Smile snack.... Today the plan is to figure out what were going to be eating for the week and head out to the store. Something tells me I better feed Emma and Connor prior to going to the store otherwise we may end up with a cart full of junk food. Ill have to post some photos as evidence of our survival tomorrow...
Yesterday was a Low of 8 and a high of 19 - a whopping 8 degree swing... Compared to someone who had 73 degree temps... Hopefully Mom will bring some sun back home with her.

Disney
This past Sunday we took the kids to Disney on Ice. They were celebrating 100 years of Disney. There was Pinocchio, all the princesses, Aladdin, lion king, small world, beauty and the beast, nemo, the Incredibles plus many more and of course Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Emma was very concerned that Daisy was missing all night. She is ready to go visit Mickey @ his house (hint hint Uncle Mike) I hope you are saving your money I think Brinn is almost ready too.
Emmi enjoying her cotton candy and her Mickey Ears.
Making sure not to miss any of that Cotton Candy or the show.

The Little Carpenter's
Mom trying to help out the little carpenters, although Connor probably knows better than Mom when it comes to the tools.
Once a month on a Saturday, Home Depot has a children's workshop which allows kids to come in and use the tools and build something with their parents. Today we headed over with Deanna to make some football bookends. It took allot of concentration on Connor's part, as the Dempsey tongue says it all.
