1st Day of School

Connor and Emma had their 1st day of school today. Emma was heading off to Kindergarten and Connor on to the big 2nd Grade. My how they grow so quickly. Emma was very excited, Connor not so much. He had homework and it was fill in the blank, the question was I am happy when....Connor decides to write "when I am not in school" I told him that was not acceptable he did not know why, I think it is going to a long year, I thought to myself. By the time he was done with school he had all good things to say and was happy Emma did not find him on the playground to bug him. Emma had a great day as well. She did think she needed to have dinner right away and head to bed because she was tired and did you know as she puts it "I have to go to school again tomorrow mom did you know that?" Connor did break the news this morning at the breakfast table she has 3 more days to go she was not impressed, she was to tired she said.
